01Scope and service provider
These Terms apply to all Quantstream websites, mobile applications, digital products and services that link to them, provided by Quantstream SRL, Intr. Pristolului, No. 7, Apt. 2, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania. Contact hello@quantstream.ro. Feature-specific or purchase terms are presented before the relevant use or transaction and apply alongside these Terms. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights always take precedence. If you cannot legally enter the relevant contract, a parent or guardian must authorise your use. Our general services are not intended for children under 13.
02Accounts and account communications
Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You may use a chosen display name unless a particular service requires and explains a need for your legal name; do not impersonate someone else. Keep access to your registration email so you can verify or recover your account and receive essential notices. You are responsible for your own activity, not unauthorised activity beyond your reasonable control. Tell us promptly if you suspect misuse. We use registration details for account creation, authentication, administration and necessary service communications as explained in our Privacy Policy; creating an account does not subscribe you to advertising.
03Privacy and optional consent
Our Privacy Policy explains the data we process, purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention criteria and your rights across our services. Essential processing that is objectively necessary for your account or requested features relies on the applicable contractual basis, not a blanket consent hidden in these Terms. Security and legal obligations may require other lawful bases. Accepting these Terms does not waive GDPR rights or consent to optional marketing, tracking or unrelated AI processing. Where consent is required for an optional purpose, we request it separately and you can withdraw it without losing unrelated features. A content licence below is not a substitute for a GDPR legal basis.
04Acceptable use and sharing
Use our services lawfully and respect other people, their privacy and intellectual-property rights. Do not harass, impersonate, publish unlawful content, attempt unauthorised access, compromise security or misuse the service. Only upload material you are entitled to share, and consider whether it reveals someone else’s identity or location. Check visibility settings before sharing: public content may be seen and copied beyond your intended audience. Report unlawful content, abuse or security concerns to our contact address. We may take proportionate measures against misuse and explain material restrictions where appropriate and legally permitted.
05Your content and our intellectual property
You retain ownership of your content. You grant Quantstream a non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, process and display it only as needed to provide the service and honour your sharing choices, including necessary processing by our service providers. This licence does not grant a right to sell your content or use it for unrelated advertising or general-purpose AI training. It ends when the content is removed, subject to legally required retention, necessary backup expiry and copies already lawfully shared with others. Our software, branding and original materials remain ours or our licensors’. You may use them through the intended service functionality; statutory rights, including lawful interoperability and consumer rights, remain unaffected.
06Service information, previews and AI
Features explicitly described as planned, previews or in development are not promises of availability or a release date. The description shown when you obtain a service or paid feature governs what is offered, subject to mandatory rights. Informational content, maps and AI-assisted material may contain errors; reconstructions and generated illustrations are interpretations rather than evidence. Check important information against reliable sources. Any feature that processes your personal data using AI requires its own clear explanation under our Privacy Policy; these Terms do not authorise undisclosed uses.
07Real-world activities and external services
When using features for travel, outdoor activity, navigation or cultural visits, use appropriate equipment and exercise judgement. Unless a service expressly states otherwise, it is not an emergency service or a substitute for official navigation, weather or safety information, professional advice or competent supervision. Maps do not grant access to property or establish surveyed walking routes. Respect laws, access rules, on-site instructions and cultural heritage; do not disturb or remove protected objects. External services and user contributions are not controlled or endorsed by us merely because they are linked or displayed; their own terms may apply. Nothing here removes our responsibility where mandatory law applies.
08Payments, subscriptions and consumer rights
Where paid features are offered, we or the relevant store show the price, billing period, scope, renewal and cancellation conditions before purchase. Manage app-store subscriptions through the store account used to buy them and cancel before its stated renewal deadline. Deleting an app or account does not automatically cancel a subscription. Refunds follow the applicable store procedure and mandatory law; contact us if you need help identifying the right process. Statutory withdrawal rights and remedies for non-conforming digital content or services remain available where applicable. Any legally permitted loss of a withdrawal right for immediate supply requires the specific prior consent and acknowledgement required by law, not merely acceptance of these Terms. Required notice will be given for price changes.
09Stopping use, suspension and deletion
You can stop using a service and request account deletion through the contact route in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or restrict access for material breaches, unlawful activity or a genuine security risk, using proportionate measures and giving reasons and an opportunity to resolve the matter where appropriate. Immediate action may be necessary to protect users or comply with law. Contact us to contest a restriction. Suspension does not remove your GDPR rights, and termination does not automatically justify keeping all your data. Any retention follows the purposes and exceptions in our Privacy Policy. We will give reasonable notice of material service changes or closure where possible and honour applicable refund, content-retrieval and data-access obligations.
10Responsibility, disputes and updates
We exercise reasonable care and skill but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or error-free information. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for unforeseeable losses or losses caused by your misuse. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, injury caused by our negligence or any liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory data-protection and consumer rights. Romanian law applies without removing mandatory protections or competent-court rights in your country of residence. You may contact us to seek a resolution, but this is not a condition for a complaint to a supervisory authority or legal action. We date updates, notify material changes as required and seek renewed agreement where necessary; continued use does not constitute consent to new personal-data purposes. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
